Seeking Kansas or PSYPACT Therapists

Hello everyone, I’m working on my October update, which has lots of stuff in it in terms of upcoming offerings from me, as well as readings, resources, and opportunities for advocacy/resistance from other folks.

Before I get that finished and out to everyone, I have an important request. If you are a therapist licensed in Kansas (or through a multi-state licensing compact that includes Kansas, like PSYPACT) who has taken any of my trainings on sociopolitical distress in trans clients, I would love to connect with you. I’m dually licensed in Massachusetts and Kansas and am finalizing resources for my clients in preparation for my upcoming parental leave. I don’t have as robust a professional network in Kansas and am hoping this newsletter reaches enough of you to facilitate this process.

To folks who don’t practice in Kansas, I hope you can forgive this usage of the newsletter, particularly with my promise for a worthwhile read forthcoming! In the meantime, I will point you toward a piece I wrote on substack titled The Statement I Wish Fenway Health Would Have Made.

Thank you all. It continues to be a gift to be connected to all of you and to know that so many people are committed to better futures for trans people and all of us.
